When people think of their bank the word ethical doesn't tend to go hand in hand, however Charity Bank is entirely owned by charitable foundations, trusts and social purpose organisations. So when they say they're an ethical bank, they mean it.

Our aim was to put the stories of all the charities and social enterprises they've helped at the forefront of the new site, we did this using bold colours, striking imagery and clear messaging.

What we did

The information you need, at your fingertips

We ensured that the new site was accessible to all users, this goes beyond just creating a beautiful mobile experience but also building the site to the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.

What We Did

An extension of the brand

Alongside the site Charity Bank had just completed an overhaul of the branding, and as part of our role we worked closely with the team to extend the brand beyond print and into web.

We worked with their colour palette and added web alternatives, and to sit alongside their main typeface, Buenos Aires, we chose Proxima Nova Soft to create a friendly, easy to read experience.

Charity Bank has been a huge success, with the organisations receiving four significant business leads and a week’s worth of traffic in one day. Post-launch the site continues to be complemented and traffic to the site continues to trend above previous levels.

Our work with Charity Bank is on-going, helping them create campaigns and add new products to their offering as they grow.
